Current position Senior Sales Manager & E-commerce Project Manager, 01 01 2017 Employer: ArcelorMittal WireSolutions, Bissen (Luxemburg), home based Region: The Netherlands & Belgium Managing traditional and digital sales channels (prospection and retention) in following product lines: residential fencing - professional and security fencing - agricultural, life stock and wildlife fencing and wire - wire products for construction and building - industrial wire - wire products for orchards, vineyards and greenhouses - wire products for recycling Since 2017 I contributed to a pan European centralising and restructuring process of local ArcelorMittal offices and warehouses, focussing on the transition process in The Netherlands and Belgium. This process involved externalising our warehouse business to third parties. With this task I prospected possible sales, distribution and warehouse partners, negotiated sales and distribution agreements, trained external sales forces and back office. I also created positive mood towards change with internal stakeholders and trained internal central backoffice. This process resulted in the expansion of the Dutch and Belgian sales channel and customer base and the expansion of sales margins on raw materials. As the restructuring process strongly reduced the nr of FTEs also the cost basis was firmly reduced. In 2018 I was asked to manage transition to E-commerce within the fencing and finished wire products department focussing on the Netherlands and Belgium as testmarkets. This project involved leading the design process of a webstore with an external partner, organise external warehouse facilities and back office, defining and organising new dropship services, prospect and develop the digital sales partners channel, develop new digital marketing approach with affiliate and longtail marketing, set up price structures for the different sales channels, ... . This project is now finished. It expands contribution to Ebitda of the concerned fencing product range, strengthens brand and visibility, secures online sales channels, creates less dependency on traditional key accounts and results in a better grip on market prices.
