Buyer (IT)

Introduction

We are looking for an IT Buyer to join our client; The ideal candidate has experience in managing the end-to-end sourcing process, including RFI (Request for Information) and RFP (Request for Proposal) stages. This role requires a deep understanding of IT procurement, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to draft and manage contracts effectively.

Function

• Manage the entire sourcing process from A to Z, including RFI, RFP, and vendor selection.
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to ensure favorable outcomes.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their IT procurement needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain and update procurement records and documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Requirements

Technical profile requirements 

• Strong track record in managing the full sourcing process.
• Proficiency in SAP Ariba is a very strong plus
• Proficient in MS Office

Non-Technical profile requirements 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Methodology/Certification requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree (economic) or equivalent by experience

 Language proficiencies

• Fluent in English is mandatory
• Dutch is a plus.

Offer

• Location: Ability to wok onsite in Hoboken or Brussels for 3 days per week. 2 days remote work. 
• Onsite Presence in both locations can be reuested for meetings 
• Period: ASAP – end of 2026 (renewable)
