We are assisting our client in their search for a Social Compliance & Process Improvement Lead.
This role is about optimizing, structuring, and safeguarding the social-compliance processes. It combines operational compliance control with process improvement, digital optimization, and team support. The focus is on efficient workflows, clear documentation, and the management of key SC systems (HubSpot, SharePoint). In addition, trends, and risks within the subcontracting chain to enable timely corrective actions will be monitored.
Function
Process Improvement & Structuring
Optimizing and standardizing social-compliance processes.
Creating workflows, procedures, and quality guidelines.
Developing manuals, templates, and work instructions.
HubSpot Optimization & Functional Management
Managing and improving pipelines, ticket flows, dashboards, and reports.
Testing, configuring, and documenting new functionalities.
SharePoint Structure, Optimization & Management
Structuring the SharePoint environment for social compliance.
Managing folder structures, access rights, and document flows.
Safeguarding version control and document standards.
Dashboards, Reporting & Trend Monitoring
Developing visual dashboards.
Monitoring trends, recurring issues, and risk domains among contractors.
Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to management.
Team Training & Onboarding
Training team members in new processes and systems.
Organizing mini-trainings, demos, and refresh sessions.
Acting as the point of contact for workflows, tools, and documentation.
Operational Social-Compliance Tasks
Performing checks on contractors (A1, Limosa, contracts, wages, permits).
Following up and mitigating non-compliances.
Supporting audits, reviews, and communication with subcontractors.
Conducting spot checks and internal audits.

Requirements
Knowledge of Belgian/EU labour law for migrant workers
Streetwise and accurate, handle sensitive complaints and unbiased attitude
Willing to work 4 out of 5 days on a construction site in the harbour of Antwerp + 1-day WFH
Execute weekly internal audits/spot-checks on site with a colleague whole year – round,
Construction site experience is a bonus
Hands on attitude, analytical and problem-solving skills
Stress-resistant, able to define and prioritize issues and solve in a pragmatic way
Self-starter and self-resolving skills
Excellent verbal and written Dutch & English, eastern European languages are an advantage
Previous experience in complex construction projects
