Freelance Senior Project Manager Infra

or a project at our client (located in Hasselt), we are looking for a Project Leader SR Infra
In the 2nd half of 2025 there are numerous projects in the pipeline that will be bundled into one programme that will be led and monitored by the project leader infra.

The ICT cell of our client has the following expectations of the Infra project leader:

• OT environment: Update Symantec Endpoint Protection: Manage the phased upgrade of the Symantec Endpoint Protection software, including communication with users and coordination of system restarts.
• OT environment: Patching OS: Schedule the patching of operating systems (and the upgrade of OS'n if possible).
• OT environment: Hardware Lifecycle: Provide a structured approach to managing hardware, including monitoring, incident management, and documentation in consultation with the technical team.
• OT environment: PAM Rollout: Coordinate the rollout for secure access to ICT systems without using VPN, including setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and managing user rights.
• IT environment: Migration from Symantec Endpoint Protection to Defender for server: Managing the phased migration, including communication and coordination of system restarts.
• IT environment: Rolling out Teams for telephony.
• Network environment: Implementation of VRF: coordination and follow-up.

Profile:

• You have at least 8 years of experience in executing various infrastructure and network projects within the IT and OT environment at a similar organisation and can demonstrate this based on your CV.
• Demonstrable experience in project management - senior ( 8.00 years ) - Must have
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience of a programme management methodology (e.g. Agile, Scrum, MSP) - Must have
• CV must demonstrate a technical background - Must have
• Strong communication and coordination skills - Must have
• Demonstrable experience as a project manager in infrastructure projects - senior ( 8.00 years ) - Should have
• Demonstrable experience in network projects - Should have
• Demonstrable experience with projects on critical OT systems - Should have
• Demonstrable experience as Project Manager in infrastructure or development projects - senior ( 5.00 years ) - Should have
• Demonstrable experience with terminology, organisation, roles and processes of the PM methodology (e.g..Prince2, PMBok, ...) - Should have
• Language requirement: Dutch-speaking at European CEFR - level C2 - Must have
• Demonstrable experience with project management techniques and be able to use tools (risk management, issue management, ...) - Should have
• Demonstrable knowledge of and experience with ITIL - Should have
• Demonstrable knowledge of MS Project, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) - Should have
