Mission Context
??????Since 2023, our client is preparing for the adoption of the ITG DevOps platform, instead of the current locally managed solutions for CI/CD tooling.
By doing this, we hope to achieve the following objectives:
- Group synergies – mutualized platforms & support teams.
- Tight integration with other services offered by ITG – which we as an entity of the group are more and more consuming. Not going for the group solution would mean that otherwise we would have to recreate these integrations at Fortis side.
- Creation of capacity at our client to focus on the more functional/process aspects of DevOps instead of the management of the supportive tooling.
- Integrated Identity and Access Management in the group solution (mitigation of risks on the client's CI/CD
The Tribe DevEx, which is centered on Development Experience, is in charge of realizing the convergence towards the group platform
The convergence involves :
- the exploration of the group solution,
- the technical prerequisites for integration with the client's specific landscape
- the transversal concerns such as Application Security & Vulnerability Management,
- the migration enablers and the change management to support the organization to get through this effort.
- the decommissioning of the local assets
- Projects are separate to usual day-today business activities and require a group of people to work together to achieve a set of specific objectives.
- Now that we are entering the entering the actual convergence phase, we need a Project Manager who will ensure the project is completed on time and within budget, and that the project's objectives are met (according to scope). Also oversees the project to ensure the desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.
Function description
As Project Manager, you will lead the convergence of the IT organization to the ITG DevOps platform. You will be responsible for managing the project ensuring the successful migration of the CI/CD toolchain and aligning with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Agree on objectives with management and stakeholders, ensuring project effort and cost estimation, and creating a comprehensive project plan.
- Develop a roadmap for the migration of the CI/CD toolchain, aligning with the organization's strategic objectives, plan and manage the project, including setting milestones, deadlines.
- Lead a team of stakeholders, including IT leadership, engineers, and release managers, to ensure successful project delivery, and facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication, gathering feedback and driving consensus on project deliverables.
- Collaborate with IT leadership to bridge business and IT needs, providing tactical support to align organizational capabilities with project requirements, and monitor interdependencies to ensure seamless communication between core IT streams and business stakeholders.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, by monitoring and managing all risks related to the project, and respecting enterprise rules and standards, including Compliance, Permanent Control, and Operational Risk.
- Develop and manage project strategies, define tasks and deliverables, and conduct quality assessments, risk analysis, and management reporting, and design and monitor project and quality plans, ensuring activities stay on track and providing stakeholders with regular, accurate progress reports.

- French: knowledge of French is a plus because you will have numerous interactions with French people from the group

Adhoc trips to Paris might also be organised to participate to workshops with our French colleagues from the group
Required experience/knowledge
At least 5 years of relevant experience.
Technical Experience
Mandatory
- Experience in IT transformation projects in large companies
- Knowledge of project management methods, processes and tools (e.g. PMBOK, PRINCE2, …)
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
- Good understanding or IT concepts related to DevOps and CI/CD
Business Experience
