Job Title: Application architect
Location: Brussels, Belgium (2 to 3 Days in a week)
Duration: 6 Months with possible Extension
Languages: English, Dutch (Nice to have)
Description:
As a system architect you translate conceptual ideas to concrete solutions and design these solutions with a clear view on how the architecture should evolve, while adhering to the necessary security principles. You'll come in contact with a wide range of technologies, frameworks and products … and this for the different client segments. You connect the dots, bring teams together and define the architecture of our solutions.
You are also able to, during the idea and feasibility phase, take into account all solution alternatives. You do research about the feasibility of scope, budget, time-to-market and ability to execute. You make sure the chosen solutions are supported within the organization, with technical experts, other system architects, within the community of business analyst, etc...
You will work closely with the other members of the team, UX experts, designers and policy staff . Our teams consist of developers, functional and business analysts, testers, project managers, process managers, scrum masters and product owners.
Your skills?
• You have strong analytical skills
• You have a keen understanding of our various architectural & framework offerings, and are able to design flexible & lasting architecture
• You like to broaden your knowledge by investigating new things has not been done so far, and are willing to be a forerunner in this
• You have experience with handling risk & security expectations and can help our teams adhere to the necessary processes
• You are strong in written and verbal communication (Dutch and English)
• You can listen and understand business needs
• You can translate conceptual and strategical concepts into concrete solutions and advice. And you can bring them convincingly into a language understood by the customer.
• You are a real team player: you get energy by working in a multidisciplinary team towards a common goal.
• You have a focus on quality, performance, security and stability
• You are willing to continuously learn and are open to innovation
• You have experience with SAFe
• You guide the planning, definition and design of solutions and exploration of solution alternatives
• You establish critical Non Functional Requirements for the solutions
• You align teams around technical orientation in order to evaluate different technical alternatives of solutions
