Recruiter / Talent acquisition specialist (freelance, parttime)

We are urgenly looking for a parttime recruiter (50-60%) who can support our fast-paced growing team in finding, selecting and hiring the best candidates for our open positions in software & product development, outbound sales and growth marketing.

You will work together with the team on our new product aiming at worldwide clients in television and entertainment business.


YOUR TASKS

  • As a recruiter, you will take ownership of the full recruitment cycle: intake & set-up of new positions, vacancy writing, job posting & channel management, CV screening, interviewing & scheduling technical & business assignments and handle rejections & feedback.
  • Together with the team leads and management, you analyse the business needs and make suggestions based on your knowledge and experience on hiring needs, recruitment decisions and come up with creative solutions to recruit & select new team members.
  • You are the POC for all questions related to recruitment & selection, both for candidates as internal stakeholders.
  • You make sure our ATS is up-to-date and document every step taken in the recruitment & selection process.
  • You identify suitable hiring & job posting channels, networks and are creative in finding the best way to reach the right people with our open positions, with a limited budget.
  • You keep track of the budget & promotions of job positions on paid channels and social media. Together with the growth team, you create catchy campaigns on our social channels to attract more candidates & ensure a consistent employer branding.
  • You can identify possible partners and set up collaborations with specialised recruitment agencies for hard-to-find profiles.
  • You are the nr. 1 soldier within the company to promote referrals and employer branding from the inside out.
  • You handle all communication & administrative steps in the recruitment process, keeping all parties updated and informed timely about next steps, feedback and rejections.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in recruitment & selection, specifically in recruiting & selecting technical profiles & developers in a SaaS/tech/start-up/remote working environment.
  • You are familiar with ATS & HRM software and tools - we use Personio.
  • You know your way around modern job posting channels like LinkedIn, AngelList and similar platforms.
  • You’re proficient in English, both oral and written. Knowledge of Dutch is a bonus, not a must.
  • Working in a remote, tech environment doesn’t scare you, but gets your heart pumping a wee bit faster.
  • You have basic understanding of what a frontend developer does, know that ‘Vue.js’ is not a typo and can explain what the scrum method means on a product team. You can talk tech in a credible way, but know your own limitations and when to escalate to the real techies.
  • Communication, communication, communication! And you’ve noticed there’s an ‘m’ missing.
  • You have a keen eye for detail and like to work in a structured & organised manner, with a special attention to punctual documentation & scheduling skills.
  • A hands-on mentality and being proactive are key words that pop in your head when you have to define who you are. You don’t like ‘wait and see’ but ‘go and act’!
  • You have great empathy and social skills. Sounds creepy, but you know how to read people in half-an hour or so and have a proven track record of the right ‘gut feel’ when finding the best candidate for the job.

ABOUT US

We are a cloud based application to support TV teams creating Talk Shows, Game Shows, Live Shows, Online News, Esports, Visual Radio and Events.

It supports the workflow through ideation, writing a script and rundown and handle media. In the technical environment of the studio, our online rundown integrates with prompters, graphic engine and play-out devices. The integration with graphic engines and play-out devices (like vMix) is done via our own application. This application handles media downloaded from the script and enables automation of media cueing during recordings. It’s a revolutionary and state-of-art application that means a digital revolution in TV and Event production.
